The East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is going to build a crossing channel or locally known as sodetan in the Statistik Housing Complex, Pondok Bambu, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, which aims to minimize inundation on Jalan Statistik RT 16/07.

The channel will have about 300 meters 

Maintenance Division Head Puryanto said he had coordinated with the Statistic Center (BPS) side as the owner first before building the channel.

"The channel will have about 300 meters in length with dimensions of 1.5x1.5 square meters using U-ditch," he said, Thursday (3/17).

According to him, it would be made to connect the outlets of the H. Dogol Reservoir to the Teluk Sibolga Connecting Channel.

While waiting for the communication process with BPS, his party carried out the measurement and mapping of the land first.

"This work will be handed to the third party with e-catalog system," he concluded.
